Bio: Born and raised in Tampa, Capt. Woody developed a passion for fishing at a very young age. Now years later, he’s still expanding his fishing knowledge and skill levels. With over 50 years of worldwide fishing experience he does everything possible to create an unforgettable and world class fishing adventure.

As an experienced professional guide, outdoor writer and lecturer, Woody is always eager to teach guests on ways to improve their angling skills. Whether cultivating children to the excitement of fishing and the outdoors or teaching beginners how to fish; his approach is always patience and courteousness. However, guiding seasoned anglers, he understands catching is paramount and does everything possible to locate feeding fish. Over the years, thousands of local and vacationing anglers agree his fishing charters are satisfying, educational and always a memorable experience.

As a military veteran, college graduate and business executive in the construction equipment industry for over twenty years; Woody’s learned how to market and manage a successful business. When asked what one thing contributes most to his business success, he responds, “It’s very simple, Customer Service”.

Woody is also a member of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association (FOWA) and Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA), Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA), National Association of Charter Boat Operators (NACO), American Sport Fishing Association (ASA) Hillsborough County Marine Law Enforcement Advisory Committee and Florida Guides Association.
